Lauren Ash-Morgan is an actress and member of SSC's board of directors since 2011, is the Founding co-artistic director of the new theatre company Speech of Fire. She has been the artistic director for Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 until 2019. As the artistic director of SSC She was also the company's composer, musician and text coach, as well as set/costume/music designer. While she was usually the leader of the ensemble of actors at the end of her time, she was able to make her debut as a director (and the lighting design) with the SSC's King Lear.
